What the brand says: Baby Lips® Moisturizing Lip Gloss is enriched with vitamin E that smoothes and softens lips for hours, so they never feel dry. Four-hour softness and moisture combine with a zero-stick finish to create the creamy lip gloss. It’s a whole new way to shine.
Packaging: The lip gloss comes in a transparent tube that reveals the shade. It has a white screw-cap bearing a wand with doe-foot applicator on the end.
Texture: The lip gloss is like a thin gel that glides on easily on the lips without feeling heavy or very sticky like MAC lip glosses.
Shade: There are many shades in this range, specific to locations. I got 2 shades in this- named ‘Pink Pizzaz’ and ‘Fab & Fuchsia’. Both the shades are pink toned, ‘Pink Pizzaz’ is a baby pink shade while ‘Fab & Fuchsia’ is a bit on the coral side. Both the lip glosses do not show up on the lips and go transparent. So, you are left with just a clear gloss. I like using these on top of nude lipsticks for a touch of shine (See lip swatches).
Fragrance: The lip glosses have prominent berry fragrance which I love.
How I use and staying power: Apply lip gloss with the applicator wand in the center of your upper lip and follow the contours of your mouth. Glide the lip gloss across the entire bottom lip. If you do not like transparent glosses, use it on top of any matte lipstick.
I am not a big fan of transparent or pigmented lip gloss since they transfer and make my lips look big (PS. I already have a big pout). I like using this on top of matte nude lipsticks for just a hint of shine, and I do not use it any other way. The lip gloss transfers and if you have applied it on top of a lipstick, it will wipe that away to. Personally, I am not a big fan of this product but if you like transparent gloss or want to add a hint of shine to your lipstick, you may consider using this.
