 COLOURPOP MOMENT OF WEEKNESS

Packaging: The lipsticks come in a carton box neatly arranged. The ultra matte lipsticks look just like any other colourpop lipstick.

Texture: The lipsticks have a very thin consistency that glide on very easily on the lips, just as easy as you paint a surface. After few seconds, the lipstick dries int a super-drying matte finish that does not transfer at all.

Shade: There are a total of 7 shades in this collection, here is a summary on each-

Sunday- Sunday is a nude-mauve shade that is perfect for everyday wear and not just on Monday! Will suit all skin tones perfectly.

Monday- Monday is a proper brown-nude with no other undertone. Will look beautiful on fair to medium skin tones but a bit frosty on darker skin tones.

Tuesday- Tuesday is a bright coral-pink with neon undertones too it. If you like bold and bright lippies, this will make you happy!

Wednesday- This is a proper pink shade with very little neon undertones to it. Will suit all skin tones.

Thursday- Thursday is a pretty purple shade that goes well on all skin tones.

Friday- Friday is a pure vampire black shade and I have no idea which skin tone will it suit! I mean who wears such black shades?  You can use it on Halloween or for any transforming makeup look.

Saturday- This is a deep burgundy shade which I quite like! I don’t wear such bold shades but this one looks pretty and is perfect for occasional wear.

All the shades are super pigmented and give 100% opaque colour in just one dip and swipe.

Fragrance: These lipsticks don’t really have any particular fragrance.

How I use and staying power: Since this is a dry-matte lipstick, most of the girls prefer applying a lip balm underneath; this actually disrupts its long-lasting nature. Always exfoliate your lips before you use these lippies or it might emphasize dry patches. Simply smoothen the wand on your upper and lower lips and you are done. Let it dry for 1 minute or so and you will have a perfect matte pout.

The lipsticks feel super comfortable on the lips and since they do not transfer at all, you need not worry about getting it inside your mouth or on your food that you bite. The lipstick does dry and is non-transferable but if you rub your lips really hard, you can see your fingers getting stained yet the lipstick remains as it is which a great. If you eat very oily food, it does transfer a bit but you won’t see it budge or smudged at all. This means that the lipstick lives upto its claims of being non-transferable and water-proof. The lipstick certainly is tough to remove; I used all the micellar waters  and makeup removers that I have and also the rice cleansing water from The Face Shop but it always needed rubbing which made my lips red and inflamed. If you want to remove this from your lips with minimal rubbing, simply apply a lip balm generously on your lips and massage and finally wipe it off with a cotton cloth or wash cloth. Overall, these lipsticks are great for everyday use without the fear of fading or the hustle of re-application.
