COLOURPOP SUPER NOVA SHADOWS REVIEW- ALL SHADES

What the brand says: We somehow bottled up high shine liquid metal, loaded it with glitter, and created an actual supernova for your eyes. This water-infused, super longwearing liquid shadow is extremely versatile and can work for so many looks, whether you want an all over base color, a touch of glitter, or extreme metallic foil. These high-impact ultra-glittery shadows have a metallic base, are extremely long-wearing, and can be used as a base, alone, or as a topper.

Packaging: The eye shadows come in a tube form with long doe applicator just like any other lipstick which makes it very easy to use.

Texture: The shadows are very creamy and extremely pigmented. Easy to blend with dense brush or fingers and they dry down to a completely transfer-proof finish but isn’t water-proof.

COLOURPOP SUPER NOVA SHADOWS REVIEW- ALL SHADES

I am totally into glitter eye shadows these days and because it is the holiday season, you can rock it any way you want! These shadows are very easy to use and when combined with matte shades from other palettes or when used only at the crease, inner corners or the center of the lids, you can use these on an everyday basis too (if you use makeup regularly) just to add an oomph to your lids. They aren’t really glittery but are metallic and have foil-like finish that looks really unique and attractive. I like the finish and have never used anything like this before. Also they dry in a minute or so so you have enough time to bend them. Since they come with a doe tip applicator, you can easily create cut-crease eye looks without having to use a concealer for making a sharp line. The shadows do not fade and stay intact all day long provided you do not have oily lids or if it doesn’t rain because the shadows are completely water soluble and get washed away instantly with just water. Also, if you layer them or apply a thick layer, they tend to get cakey and crumble and eventually the particles fall off if you rub it so make sure you apply a thin and even layer to make it look good and last long. The shadows are great and I find myself using them often because I do not have oily lids and using a primer always works!

  2. The purple eyes and nude lips look so great together! That lipstick is especially amazing. I’d love to know what lipstick you’re wearing in the last picture.
