PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Himalaya Herbals Anti-Hair Fall Shampoo is an advance 2-in-1 formula that not only reduces hair fall but also provides nourishment to hair shafts. Himalaya Herbals Anti-Hair Fall conditions the hair improving it texture which in turn reduces hair breakage resulting in hair fall.
There are a lot of anti-hairfall shampoos in the market but we certainly are not sure of which ones work. There are herbal ones, chemical ones and then there are the mixed ones containing both natural and artificial chemical based ingredients. Today I will be reviewing the anti-hairfall shampoo from Himalaya which contains both chemical and natural ingredients.
Packaging: The shampoo comes in the usual shampoo bottle similar to other variants in Himalaya. 100 mL bottle is small enough to be carried while travelling and there won’t be any leakage either thanks to the perfectly fitting cap.
Texture: The shampoo is neither very thick nor runny and has a smooth texture.
Fragrance: I really cannot make out what it smells like, but it certainly is not sweet and is not unpleasant either.
How I use it: I took a dollop of this in a mug of water and poured the foamy water on hair followed by massaging. Surprisingly the foam vanished so I had to try using the shampoo directly. The shampoo still did not foam that well; which is quite weird. This does confirms it has less chemicals, but it is nowhere mentioned on the bottle that it is SLS free. The shampoo does clean very effectively so you can definitely use this as a cleansing shampoo. Now coming to the anti-hairfall claims, the shampoo does not really reduce hairfall! The other downside of using this shampoo is that it does not quite hydrate or moisturise your hair, so if you have dry hair this will add on to the dryness. I recommend using a conditioner after this.
