MY TAKE ON HIMALAYA HERBALS KAJAL EYE DEFINER

I am very much loyal to kajals :p and I never leave my house without wearing one. Himalaya herbal kajal is long known by many and I decided to try it since it is a herbal one. Here is a review on it:

Packaging: The kajal comes in transparent twist up bullet tube with a transparent cap. The kajal is not in a stick form but in a triangle form with narrow tip. If you apply more pressure, the kajal breaks :/ I broke mine when I used this few years back (this was the very first kajal I used)! So you need to twist up partially and apply minimal pressure while applying. I don’t know how you will apply while twisting up the product partially as the tube touches the eye too! I am not happy with the tube design here. The cap too doesn’t fit tight and can come off in your handbag.

HIMALAYA HERBALS KAJAL EYE DEFINER REVIEWTexture: The kajal is very creamy and glides on smoothly. It does not settle and smudges readily. If you love matte kajals, this is not for you since it remains in a gel form and has subtle shine.

Shade: The kajal is jet black in colour. No grey or blue tones, just jet black.

HIMALAYA HERBALS KAJAL EYE DEFINER REVIEWHow I use and staying power: I applied this kajal on my waterline, 2-3 strokes for dark colour. I applied little pressure as I knew that fact it would break. Application is a little uncomfortable due to the packaging.  The kajal settles into a shiny gel layer which smudges like crazy and gives you racoon eyes. If you have dark circles, it will make it appear darker and more prominent! You cannot use it on the upper lash at all, it will smudge and make your eyes look horrible.

The only good thing I would say is that it gives a temporary cooling sensation which is very soothing to the eyes. I have itchy eyes since a week thanks to dust allergy and while I had this on my waterline, my eyes did not itch at all!
