What the brand says: The pore-purifying mask with micro clay mousse contains Jeju volcanic cluster to attach to excess sebum. This micro mouse type clay mask with volcanic cluster powerfully absorbs sebum to intensively resolve pore concerns. Contains no mineral oil, no artificial scent and is cruelty-free!

INNISFREE JEJU VOLCANIC CLAY MOUSSE MASK REVIEWPackaging: The mousse clay mask comes in a pretty deodorant-like can which is brown in colour and quite sturdy. The can comes with a lid and the opening has a unique button cap that prevents the product from drying. The con here is that the button cap does not fit properly initially because of the product at the opening and when you close it, the opening becomes messy which is easy to clean though since the product dries off. The can is lightweight and easy to carry around.

INNISFREE JEJU VOLCANIC CLAY MOUSSE MASK REVIEWTexture: The clay mousse is like whipped cream and very little quantity is needed to cover the entire face. The pump dispenser might deliver more than required amount, so take care that you apply minimal pressure on the pump while taking out the product.

Fragrance: The mousse clay mask has an earthy smell to it, more like stones, if that makes sense!

INNISFREE JEJU VOLCANIC CLAY MOUSSE MASK REVIEWHow I use and after-effects: After cleansing and toning, take a small amount of the mask and apply it on the entire face except the area around your eyes and mouth. Let it sit for 20 minutes and wash it off. If you ask me, I let it stay for 1 hour because my pores were badly clogged I feel because I am experiencing acne since a few weeks. Also, I had been using retino cream past 2 weeks which makes skin dry and flaky initially. After I washed off the mousse mask, my skin felt instantly brighter, cleansed and the dry flakes were 100% gone. I am not sure if this product has exfoliating properties, but it worked well in removing the entire dry skin layer which is great. Also, I felt my acne (which was 50% healed already) went flat and flaked off the next day. My skin felt smooth, soft and touchable. I feel this mousse form works better than the jar clay mask, no idea why since it’s the same product with different textures.
