What the brand says: Red wine can soften skin and remove dead skin cells, making your skin refined and smooth. Highly concentrated red wine ingredient improves skin texture for a brightened complexion. Wine is rich in antioxidants that helps skin get rid of free radicals. It also helps balance skin’s pH and maintains its elasticity.

INNISFREE WINE PEELING JELLY SOFTENER REVIEWPackaging: The product comes in a wine-bottle-shaped bottle and is travel friendly.

Texture: The product is not very thick nor runny and is milky that feels like lightweight gel in the skin and transforms into dry flakes as soon as you start rubbing.

Fragrance: The product smells exactly like wine.

INNISFREE WINE PEELINGHow I use and staying power: To use, cleanse your face first and pat dry. They have mentioned on the bottle to then use a cotton pad to apply the jelly softener on skin and then rub it off with another cotton pad. I have a better tried-and-tested method that reduces product wastage and works better- take some product on your palms and smoothen it onto your dry skin. Let it sit for approx 30 seconds and then start massaging with a bit of pressure until the entire product is transformed to dry flakes. Rinse off the product residue with cold water and pat dry. Follow with your regular CTM routine. Use twice a week.

I would definitely say this product from Innisfree works like magic. It cleanses off the dirt and grime, helps your skin get rid of dry skin/dead skin cells, softens skin and polishes it too giving it a natural dewy glow. When used before bedtime, it makes your night cream absorb into the skin better and you wake up with plump and soft skin. Overall, this is great product and totally worth the hype!

PROS:

  • Gently exfoliates and polishes skin
  • Adds a healthy glow to the skin
  • Makes cream absorption better

  • Makes skin soft and smooth

CONS:

  • Some might not quite like the fermented wine smell

PRICE: INR 900 for 170ml
