What the brand says: Inspired by the trends at Lakme Fashion Week, give your skin a splash of hydration and refreshment with an even-tone finish! Experts at Lakme bring you the Absolute Skin Natural Mousse Hydrating – a breakthrough mousse foundation with a unique formula that hydrates the skin for a natural dewy look.

LAKME ABSOLUTE SKIN NATURAL HYDRATING MOUSSE Packaging: The foundation comes in a typical Lakme pump bottle similar to Lakme illuminating foundation. The foundation is easy to dispense due to the pump mechanism.

Texture & Fragrance: The foundation is very moussy and light, exactly as their Mattreal Mousse foundation! In fact, it smells the same too (citrusy sweet)!

Shade: There are 4 shades in this range, the closest match to my skin tone was Velvety Beige. This shade has prominent yellow undertones that will go well with a lot of Indian skin tones.

LAKME ABSOLUTE SKIN NATURAL HYDRATING MOUSSE How I use and staying power: To use, Simply take out the product on your finger tips and dot it on your face. Use a foundation brush, beauty sponge or simply your fingers to blend the product. You are done!

The product blends in well and leaves behind a dewy finish. It does not look cakey or greasy, but does show up any dry patches on the face. If you have very oily skin, your T-zone might look shiny after few hours but blotting can help. I do not like the silicony feel it gives and if you have a lot of dark spots on face, they will eventually show up! The foundation is exactly similar to the mattreal mousse foundation from the same brand, it seems they have just reintroduced the same foundation with different packaging and different shade names! Its high time Lakme comes up with something innovative especially with their foundations! The foundation isn’t bad, but its the same old thing!
