LOREAL PARIS TINT CARESSE REVIEW
(L-R) Rose Blossom, Tulip Blossom, Lily Blossom, Peony Blossom, Sakura Blossom, Peach Blossom, Orchid Blossom, Plum Blossom.

Packaging: The lipsticks/lip tint come in a very lightweight tube with a sponge applicator that picks up the product from the screw-cap lid.

Texture: The lip tint has a very powdery texture that when blended on the lips/cheek/lids leave behind a beautiful tint which is build-able. When applied on lips, it looks and feels matte.

Shade: There are a total of 8 shades in the range, here is a summary on each-

Sakura Blossom- This is a very light baby pink that looks natural on the lips like a faint pink flush. Will go well with all skin tones.

Peach Blossom- This is similar to ‘Sakura Blossom’ but is a little darker. This too will go well with all skin tones.

Orchid Blossom- This is a purple-pink shade and looks really pretty, perfect for usual casual days and festive days as well. Will go well with fair-medium-dusky skin tones. Won’t look that great on very dark skin tones.

Plum Blossom- This is a deep berry shade which is my favorite from the range. Will suit all skin tones.

Peony Blossom- This is a light coral shade which looks prettier than the usual orange shades maybe because it is light giving it a more natural look. Will suit fair-medium-dusky skin tones. Won’t look that great on very dark skin tones.

Tulip Blossom- This is a coral-red shade and will look beautiful on all skin tones.

Rose Blossom- This is a proper dark red shade. Will go well with all skin tones.

Lily Blossom- This is the lightest shade in the range. The shade is peachy-nude and will suit only fair-medium skin tones. Will look frosty and weird on dusky-dark skin tones.

Fragrance: All the tints have a very mild and pleasant floral-sweet fragrance which I love.

How I use and staying power: To create a gradient lip tint, simply apply it on the inner lips with dabbling motion and blend it outwards. You can also apply it all over your lips for a nice tint and build it up for a matte and dark pigment. You can mix and match colours to create a colourful gradient on the lips. Use it on your lips, cheeks or lids- as you prefer!

This product is great if you prefer natural looking tinted lips. You can always apply it sheer and build it up for an opaque finish. It feels very comfortable on the lips as if you haven’t applied anything- it is that light. It does transfer if you rub your lips but the transferring is very minimal. Lighter shades fade away by the end of the day but the darker shades stay pigmented/fade a bit even after rubbing it off or having meals. When used a blush, this product gives a natural flush of colour to the cheeks and they also work great as eye shadows. Overall, these are my current favorite lip products that are perfect fr everyday use!
