What the brand says: Give your hair a reinvigorating massage of Patanjali Almond Hair Oil to strengthen your hair cuticles conditioning them to perfection. 100% pure and edible coconut oil.
Packaging: The bottle comes in sleek white coloured plastic bottle with flip open cap. The cap does fit tight but the oil leaks whatsoever. You cannot carry this oil anywhere in your bag as it will leak and make stuff around it oily.
Texture: The oil is just like any other edible coconut oil- thick and transparent.
Fragrance: This coconut oil smells like the usual edible coconut oil (similar to Kama Ayurveda coconut oil).
How to use and after-effects: Coconut oil is a wonder multipurpose ingredient. And since this one is edible, you can say it is pure and use it without worries. I have not really tried this in any dishes, but I have used this for skincare purpose. This oil makes a great face massager which also helps treat acne. Use it to massage face in the morning and your face will be squeaky clean throughout the day. It removes makeup easily, even the waterproof eye makeup. Simply apply little oil on the face and massage including the eyelids. Wipe off the makeup using a cotton pad and you are done. This oil also makes a great hair oil and keeps hair soft and nourished. If you do not use shampoo like me, you can definitely use this on the ends of your hair after washing and towel drying, but make sure you apply a very little amount.
This oil is good and can be used for moisturization in winters, if you are fine with coconut smell lingering around. Winter is here and I usually get chapped lips; this oil is going to be a great lip softener.
