What the company says: Finally, a high SPF cream that doesn’t feel like one. Our specially created micro-emulsion formula helps distribute the sunscreen more evenly over your skin. Result: a smooth, matte effect without white cast. And while the SPF protects your skin from the outside, the specially blended cocktail of antioxidants help your skin fight the harmful effects of UV from within.
I have never used any day cream since I have combination skin which tends to get oilier by the end of that day. I recently got the plum day cream which has spf 50 in it. I don’t think I have ever found any day cream with such high spf! What’s more? It is a matte cream which keeps skin shine free and contains no parabens at all. Here is a review on it:
MY TAKE ON PLUM CHAMOMILE AND WHITE TEA SHEER MATTE DAY CREAM WITH SPF50
Packaging: The cream comes in a tube form similar to the face wash in this range. The flip-open cap is well-fitting and closes with a satisfying click. The nozzle dispenses only the required amount. Overall, the tube is travel friendly and you can carry it easily in your handbag without any second thought.
Texture: The cream is white, thick yet spreads easily.
Fragrance: The face cream smells pleasant just like the other products in this range.
How I use and staying power: After cleansing and toning, I dot my entire face with the cream and massage using fingertips. The cream does feel a bit heavy initially but forms a matte finish later, yet you can still feel the cream on your face for good 2-3 hours. I does not make face greasy or shiny which is a major plus point. It contains spf yet it doesn’t show any white cast. It does moisturize your skin and keeps it from drying out which is the case with majority of matte creams.
It is rainy season and no harsh sunlight so I cannot point out the spf factor. Overall, it’s a good day cream and should suit all skin types.
