Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) has a fresh, herbaceous, sweet, slightly medicinal aroma. Rosemary oil has a reputation for stimulating hair growth, preventing hair loss. Massaging this oil on the scalp helps stimulate blood circulation. The improved blood flow increases the supply of the nutrients to the scalp, thereby nourishing the hair follicles. Massaging the scalp with this oil may lower the risk of premature baldness. This oil doesn’t clog the pores in the scalp.
Soulflower rosemary oil comes in a glass bottle with a plastic cap. You will have to make a small hole though the plastic cap to dispense the oil. I wish it came with a dropper to make it easy to use. The oil is clear and has a strong smell.

Once or twice a week I mix a few drops of rosemary oil with a tbsp of castor oil and massage it on my scalp diligently before bed time and shampoo in the morning. I like to add few drops of rosemary oil to my shampoo or conditioner while washing my hair. You can also use rosemary oil as a hair rinse, mix 1 cup of filtered water with 2 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, and a few drops of essential oil as a last rinse, after shampooing.
