What the brand says: TheBalm’s Meet Matt(e) Hughes Mini Kit is a limited edition collection that combines six best-selling liquid lipsticks to add a pop of colour to your pout. Each mini lipstick delivers a shock of highly pigmented colour with comfortable matte finish. The long-wearing formula glides effortlessly across the lips, ensuring your pout looks totally kissable, all day long.

The mini lipsticks are half of the original sized lipsticks and come neatly arranged in a cardboard box. The lipsticks come in transparent tube form and the wand is a doe applicator. The mini versions do not have the funky print on it like the full sized ones have. These mini liquid lipsticks are easy to carry around in your hand bags or even in your wallets!

these lipsticks have an amazing formula and texture! They glide easily and settle into a smudge-proof and non-drying matte finish.

The mini liquid lipstick kit contains in 6 shades- Charming, Sincere, Committed, Doting, Dedicated and Loyal. Out of these 6 shades; Sincere, Doting and Dedicated are the newest additions to the Meet Matt(e) Hughes collection. Here is brief about the shades-

Charming: Charming is a beautiful brown-peach shade that will suit all skin tones.

Sincere: Sincere is a perfect pink-nude that should go with all skin tones without looking frosty.

Committed: Committed is a perfect nude shade with no undertones that will not suit darker skin tones but will go well with medium and fair skin colour. Perfect for the lips when you want to do a dark eye makeup!

Doting: Doting is a beautiful coral shade but more on the white-orange side and not yellow-orange (if that makes sense!). The shade is exactly like a tuty-fruity ice cream and I absolutely love it. It is a lighter version of MAC matte lipstick in ‘Tropic Tonic’ to be more precise.

Dedicated: Dedicated is a pure burgundy shade with dark maroon undertone. Perfect for festive season! Will suit all skin tones.

Loyal: Loyal is a 100% red; I say 100% because it has no other undertones, just pure red.

Fragrance:  Fragrance is the only thing I don’t like in these lipsticks. It smells of some mint candy, and the fragrance rushes into your nose as soon as you open the screw-cap!

THE BALM MEET MATT(E) HUGHESHow I use and staying power: These lipsticks are super-duper pigmented and you need just one swipe for that amazing opaque and pigmented layer on your lips. You need to be careful while applying as it is tough to correct the mistakes, especially for the darker shades. The lipstick after approx. a minute after application sets into a perfect matte layer on the lips and feels very comfortable. It is not super-drying but will emphasize lines. For a smooth and flawless look, make sure you have well exfoliated lips. The lipstick stays all day long, like literally! It does not transfer at all and will stay as-it-as even after meals. If you have oily food, it might fade a bit from the lines where lips meet, but it will remain intact in the rest of your lips. The lipstick needs a good makeup remover to completely get rid of it and I use this which works well!
