About each mask:
LILY: The mask has a very mild floral smell and is not bothersome. This mask is said to brighten up the face and revitalize your skin. If you ask me, the mask did brighten up my face a bit but the results were not extra ordinary. My skin felt smooth and healthy! It does give you a well-polished and lightly brightened look for good 3-4 days. I used this mask before bedtime and kept the essence over my skin overnight and it works well that way.
LEMON: This mask is claimed to to contain lemon essence that brightens and adds a fresh glow to dull skin tone. The mask has a citrusy smell and is not OTT. I like using sheet masks before bedtime since you can keep the essence on the skin overnight to get full benefits. I use the sheet mask at night, kept it for 15 minutes and then massaged my face to soak in the solution. When I woke up, skin felt a lot smoother and softer and redness on my cheeks had vanished. I had very mild bumps on cheeks which seemed to have calmed and settled. Since the mask contains lemon, it is effective against acne and blemishes. Skin did look a bit brighter and makeup when used looked fresh and good due to glowing face.
WHITE TEA: This mask is supposed to brighten and clear your skin tone. It has a very pleasant floral smell which I love. I used it before bedtime, massaged it into the skin and slept. In the morning, my face did feel a bit greasy (maybe because it is summer) but it was glowing and looked healthy. After washing off the mask, my skin felt super smooth and clear. The mask definitely added a glow to my face but the brightening effect wasn’t prominent yet it looked even-toned. Overall a good mask that adds glow to your skin and also helps it keep clear.
ALOE: This mask is supposed to hydrate and soothe sensitive skin with rich moisture. Aloe vera is long known for its anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that also help soothe sunburn. Since it is summer, I thought it would be a right time to use this face mask. I used it before bedtime and let the essence work overnight. I woke up to an oddly sticky face and an emerging pimple on my cheek. Skin did not feel good at all. This mask contains aloe vera which is a wonder ingredient that works for all skin types, it is weird this gave me a pimple overnight! I did not like this particular mask at all.
AVOCADO: This mask with avocado essence is rich in amino acids and vitamins and claims to provide skin with comforting moisture and rich nourishment. I was expecting the mask to be creamy like the Shea butter variant from innisfree but it was just like any other sheet mask drenched in transparent fluid. Frankly speaking, the mask did nothing to my skin. My skin liked and felt pretty normal just like it it did before using the mask! I had some dry patches around the mouth but the mask failed too moisturize it. My skin did not even feel soft or brightened. Absolutely no change in how my skin looked and felt after using the mask! Overall, this mask did not work for me.
MUNG BEAN: This mask with mung bean essence claims to purify and tighten the pores, leaving skin clear and smooth. This particular mask I loved because it made my skin look and feel healthy. My skin feel tight and smooth. The mask does not claim to have a brightening effect but my face did look brightened and glowing. I had a painful emerging pimple and when I got up in the morning, the pain was no more and the pimple had gone flat! Overall, a great mask that makes your skin appear tighter and healthy and also helps prevent acne.
KELP: Initially I did not know what kelp is, and I am sure most of us do not know it too! Kelp is a sea weed that has amazing skin benefits. So, this mask is actually a skin purifying mask that purifies skin that has been roughened and stressed by the elements. Instead of using this mask before bedtime and keeping it overnight just like I did with other sheet masks, I decided to try it during the day and keep it for 30 minutes on the face. After removing the mask and massaging it in, skin felt hydrated and cleansed! It did make my face feel a bit greasy after 15 minutes thanks to hot summers here. I washed my face with water and after pat-drying my skin looked so glowing and healthy! I had no pimple when I used this mask so I cannot say whether it helps with acne reduction or prevention; but it did a great job in keeping my skin soft, smooth, glowing and really healthy looking!
LINGZI: Lingzi is a type of mushroom and the sheet mask is drenched in lingzi extracts that is supposed to improve the resilience of sagging skin. Since the mask is supposed to have skin tightening effects, I decided to try it before bedtime so the mask could get some time to work. After using the mask, I massaged the essence into my skin and slept. Skin felt refreshed, soft and tighter the next morning. The results definitely aren’t miraculous or visible, but my skin did feel tighter. I obviously d not have saggy skin since I am still in my 20s but I am sure people with 30+ age can definite see better results with multiple usage. The mask does have some good skin effects and give this a thumbs up.
