What the brand says: Turmeric Essential Oil is relaxing, balancing and stimulating. It uplifts the spirit and calms down the mind of any stress. Great for skin, body and mind. Soulflower turmeric oil is made from turmeric that is cold pressed from the rind of the nearly ripe fruit.

Packaging: The essential oil comes in a tiny glass bottle characteristic to other soul flower oil bottles. If used with care, the bottle is travel friendly.

Texture, shade and fragrance: The oil is very runny and is yellow in colour which stains clothes. It does makes your skin look a bit yellow if used as a facial oil but it once it is washed away, the stain is no more. The oil has a strong turmeric smell.

How I use and after-effects: Essential oils are something that are very potent on its own and hence need to be diluted and can be used for various issues and in multiple ways. Below are some ways to use this oil-

Skin- Dilute the oil with your regular facial oil or mix it in your night cream. Can also be used directly as a spot treatment only for cystic acne. Mix it with your facial massage product for a natural glow. You can also add few drops in your bath oil.

Hair- Add few drops in your shampoo and use. You can also add the oil in various DIY hair masks, mists and hair oils.

Pain- The oil can be used to massage joints or any body body part in case of pain mixed with a carrier oil.

PURE TURMERIC ESSENTIAL OIL I have used the oil regularly (for over 2 months ) for my skin and hair and it works wonders! I love using it mixed with my night cream since it does not feel oily that way. When used with facial oil or before using a night cream, it does not feel matte or comfortable to me as I have combination skin that tends to get even oilier during summers; using it mixed with skin care products works the best. I do use it directly as a night spot treatment whenever I get painful pimple and the very next day, the pain is no more and pimples dries off in a matter of 2 days. it also has skin brightening properties and my acne seems to be under control since I am regularly using this. I also love using it before a hair wash mixed with coconut oil and it keeps my scalp squeaky clean.

The oil smells strong and I am not a big fan of the fragrance, but coming to its performance, the oil is great and now holds an important place in my skincare regime.
